Those who dream by day are aware of many things that escape those who dream only at night.

Edgar Allen Poe

Legend of the Bear

Originally written in 1983, Legend of the Bear is a children's book dedicated to all children who wait to be adopted. The story is told through the eyes of a stuffed bear who patiently sits on a shelf in a toy store until finally someone chooses him to take home. The anxieties of both the child who waits to be adopted and the parents who wait to receive their child are depicted.

Legend of the Bear is currently being rewritten with new illustrations by Earl G. Glover. I'll be posting a sneak preview of some of the illustrations as they become available. We do not yet have a publication date but please stop back to check back on our progress. Nudge me if you want.
